La Cookies D'Anne

Dear Anne,

You have made my life grand with your spectacular cookies.  I love them.  Like, keep them away from me cause I will eat them all love them!

Thanks for bringing them into my world,

OK friends, I am about to share with you one of the greatest cookie recipes EVA!  My gal pal Anne made these for her housewarming party a while back, and I loved them SO much I asked her to make them for my engagement party.  They were such a freaking hit, they were gone before we had dinner.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies

  • 2  cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1  cup  brown sugar
  • 1  cup  white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2  teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • A large handful of salted pretzel pieces (about a cup)
  • A large handful of broken Heath bar (about a cup)

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Line 3 baking sheets with parchment.  If you don't have 3, no sweat, just reuse one when the cookies are done.
  2. Blend together the peanut butter, sugars, eggs, baking soda, and salt until smooth. Toss in the pretzels and Heath bar at the end and gently mix in.
  3. Shape the dough into golf ball sized balls with your hands, and place 12 on each prepared baking sheet. Flatten with a fork to make criss crosses.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden. Place on a wire rack to cool and bake the rest of the cookies.

You will luuuuuuuuv these!  Thanks so much to my friend Anne for the recipe.

Happy baking friends!

  1. Hi! I just found your blog via Blog Hop at Charie Foxtrot. These look amazing!

  2. Peanut butter and a Heath bar? Yes please.

  3. woah, this recipe has heath bar in it?? i'm sold.

  4. Sugar, refined flour, and fat are commonly found in cookies and doughnuts. They're usually high in calories as well.

I love your comments! I read each and every one, and they brighten my day.
